Our Story
Meraki is more than just a bracelet, we are the bracelet with millions of stories...
We wanted to make a product that has meaning behind it that everyone can relate to. We wanted something that means something to us all on a personal level. Everyone has a different journey in life. We also go through different ups and downs that make us who we are and mold us into the person we are today or will become in the future. This is also a reminder to not judge others, we all go through different experiences on our journey.
The continent elements represent the journey of life. We travel, we explore, and we meet new people & experience new things. It is what makes our journey in life fun and exciting. We took elements from each continent and embedded them into our beads to serve as a reminder to never stop exploring (you can check out our "inside the beads" section HERE to see whats inside the beads).
The dandelion fuzzy seed and evergreen needle represent ups and downs in life. Growing up a lot of us were told to blow on a dandelion and make a wish as all the fuzzy seeds go floating in the air. The dandelion represents being down in life and when you are there to just stay wishful and keep working to get yourself out of those rough times. The evergreen represents strength and being up in life. Evergreens are always green, even in the harshest conditions. When you are at a high point you need to keep thriving and growing without forgetting about the low points and what it took to get where you currently are.
Each bracelet also has one bead that has a hand engraved smiley face into it. This is just a reminder that life is too short for us to be anything but happy. It’s amazing how much of a difference a smile can make. It may not seem like much but one simple smile to a stranger could change their entire day around. So if you’re having a bad day and need a little smiley face to motivate you, your Meraki is here to do that :)
Whatever your dreams are just remember that they take time to achieve. Keep working hard, keep exploring, and keep being a good person to everyone around you. And don't forget that no matter how old you are, at the end of the day we are all just kids chasing our dreams!
